A group of CCSU union representatives met today to discuss Government Skills' work programme. A number of issues were raised including: departmental implementation of PSG at all levels and the role of Heads of Profession in developing and rolling out PSG frameworks for groups such as lawyers, scientists and vets. All departments are being asked to report on progress, and the reps at the meeting agreed that it would be important both to ensure union input at departmental level and to monitor centrally any issues arising. In order that these can be fed into forthcoming discussions with the Cabinet Office, please let me know your experiences over the next week.  

Any views on other aspects of Government Skills work programme would also be appreciated.
