SEMTA is broadly supporting the development of a science diploma for 14-19 year olds. The feasibility and desirability of such a diploma will be discussed at a conference in the autumn. It has yet to be explained how this will affect the current science GCSEs. Prospect has no policy on this particular issue, so it would be helpful to hear the views of members on this issue.
